Magellan Transport Logistics partnered with OneBlood in hosting a corporate blood drive, Tuesday, April 24, 2018 from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the company headquarters.

Donors lined up and rolled up their sleeves to support the Florida and South Georgia hospital systems and blood banks. HR Manager Alice Tallmadge, who coordinates Magellan’s wellness programs, promoted the health benefits to those who donate.

Each participate received a checkup including blood pressure, temperature, iron count, pulse and cholesterol screening. OneBlood sites, “These wellness checkups have saved the lives of some of those who volunteer to give blood”.
