Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic Magellan Transport Logistics donated local transportation services in support of those in need of critical supplies. The Magellan Flat-bed Division partnered with Manifest Distilling http://www.manifestdistilling.com in the transportation of ethanol totes, a product concentrate used in surfacing cleaning applications. In responds to community need, the distilling company is shifting its manufacturing process. The ethanol will be utilized to create sanitizer for northeast Florida hospitals and municipalities. Magellan Regional Director Ryan Kunze reports “Our company is providing logistics management relief work 24/7 nationwide, however we were especially proud to have the opportunity to contribute to local initiatives here in Jacksonville.”
