Magellan Transport Logistics Owner & CEO Tom Piatak was recognized in an article today by the Jacksonville Business Journal for pursuing employees with a strong, military work ethic. Tom tries to hire veterans when can and believes that they, and the work ethic they possess, are a good match for Magellan’s business.

Tom served five years in the US Army after studying Civil Engineering at the United States Military Academy at West Point. He served as a combat engineer during Operation Desert Storm.
