The Walt Disney Company Supplier Diversity Summit was held on March 16.2017 at Disney’s Contemporary Resort Sorcerer’s Apprentice Ballroom in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Jacksonville’s Magellan Transport Logistics was one of the selected companies to participate in the event. Justin Kane, Magellan Business Development Manager found the summit very informative and great start to a future partnership. We learned about Disney’s procurement procedures, vision, mission, and strategic anchors for building strong supplier partnerships. The match making portion of the day provided a chance for critical face to face time with key decision makers. We are excited for the magical future of the Disney/ Magellan relationship.
